Braeside Bees, Local Honey, from the garden to your table.
Our bees collect the glorious nectar and pollen from woodland, orchards, meadows and gardens from early Spring to Autumn in and around Abingdon and the surrounding areas in Oxfordshire.
The bee colonies live and work in a peaceful aipary locations, which are all in semi- rural settings, on working allotments, Fruit orchards, and gardens where they help to pollinate the fruit, vegetables and flowers and improve the gardeners yields. I also have a new colonies in a secluded woodland garden and this summer a newly formed wild meadow setting in an old cemetery. All of the locations are surrounded by both natural wild flower meadows, fruit trees, farms and domestic gardens from which they forage nectar and pollen.
Where possible, we try not to use any chemicals on the bees, but go back to the old methods of natural bee hive management and only use these when there is no alternative.
